Hon. Tanko Ibrahim the Chief of staff to the Chairman Abuja Municipal Area Council has been cleared by the Nigerian Immigration Service.

It was gathered that, he was placed on the Nigerian Immigration service watch list since 17th June 2013 and prevented from traveling out of the country for an alleged membership of ISIS group a deadly terrorist organization that has committed a heinous crime against humanity across the globe.

Ibrahim Tanko who has long been released from Defense intelligent Agency detention Abuja was arrested on his way to represent the AMAC Chairman, Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido, at a conference of the united Cities and Local Government of Africa (UCLGA) in South Africa on based similarity of his name and that of a suspected member of ISIS on the Interpol watch list.

Document from Investigative and compliance department of the Nigerian Immigration service to Conscience radio authorized the NIA,Police,Dss and all zonal coordinators and control post of NIS to exempt Ibrahim Tanko from the blacklist.
