PRESS STATEMENT: US HANDS OFF VENEZUELA
We, the solidarity groups of Venezuela, social movements, activists and citizens of Nigeria denounced to the world the criminal sabotage against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. As we write the crisis in Venezuela is increasing due to Trump and is allies’ intervention in the oil-rich country. We believe that the coup plotted by Trump has failed and the only thing that remains is that the Trump administration is planning come with military intervention.
Aside from the economic sanction against the Venezuela government that have resulted in the living standard of the people and the economic situation in Venezuela. The United States supported the Assembly President Juan Guaido that declared himself President of Venezuela on 23rd of January while urging President Nicolas Maduro the constitution president elected last year May by six million people in a general election to step down. The United State in 2002 had early organized a coup with the support of the military against the late President of Venezuela Hugo Chavez. The US government has successfully installed puppets in many Latin American countries through a coup.
The opposition puppet to the US with the support of Trump government in US attack the electrical system of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on Thursday, March 7, which caused failures in the provision of the service in 80% of the national territory, causing severe damages and suffering to the people of Venezuela. It was a computer attack produced with high-tech tools that sought to decisively damage the provision of electrical service. We in the Venezuela Solidarity Movement in Nigeria stand against these attacks and call on activist and socialist across the globe to join the struggle against the US government to end the attacks against President Maduro and the people of Venezuela.
We have early organized a rally in Unity Fountain in Abuja on February 7, 2019, we plan to organize more until the US, European Unions, and others Hands off Venezuela.
