Interview with Mama Ruth Elton
“Every great man has their secrets on strong principles, and they work with them closely. Being principled is been extraordinary firm, for principle will differentiate you from the mob” Anonymous
This vividly describes the life of Mama Ruth Elton, the only child of Pa S.G. Elton, the famous White missionary sent to the then Ilesha town in the region, now Osun State of Nigeria in 1937, by the Apostolic Church in Pennygroes, UK.

Born in England in 1934, grew up, like every other young child, but she least can fathom the calling that awaits her. Moved to Nigeria with her parents at the age of three (3), naive of the weight of the calling awaiting her Dad, but purposeful, even at her young age.

Ruth has been on the mission field since 1959, mostly in the middle belt of Nigeria, Kogi to be precise. Presently she is the Chairperson of Coming Kingdom Outreach (Inc.), Ilesha.

Conscience Podcast visited Mama Ruth Elton in her simple sitting room, in the old city of Ilesha, where the Octogenarian speaks on her events from childhood till date.
At 82+, mama has a lot to tell.
