The Bayelsa state house of Assembly PDP primaries which took place yesterday 7th Oct 2018 was marred by violence, intimidation and imposition of unpopular candidate.
Like a movie, the party’s accreditation which is supposed to take place at the state cultural centre as planned by party executives was later shifted to an unknown destination as unknown faces were seen carrying electoral materials to the government house yenagoa in a white Toyota Hilux bus.
Conscience radio visited the state sport complex venue for the election and gathered that, voting did not take place. And it was finally made known to newsmen that one madam Grace Ikiotenne emerged winner of the secret election conducted in the state government house where ballot box and electoral materials where transported to later that day.
Some party faithful interviewed had alleged that madam Grace Ikiotenne representing Ekeremor state constituency has been a long time female friend of the governor and they are not surprised if she emerged and they condemn the act of the governor.
In the accreditation centre it was also gathered that. Hon. Kemelayefa Omonibeke, Mr. Mitin Livin and Barr. Japan Udoji who contested for the same seat with madam Grace who never campaigned where all disfranchised by government security agent used that very day.
Reports also had it that Hon. Kemelayefa Omonibeke who happened to be one of the inlaws of the former president. Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, escaped assassination attempt.

Available information had alleged that, the Gov. Seriake Dickson led administration in the state orchestrated the whole act and it is as a result of the long standing feud between him and the former president whose in law is running for the same seat with his female friend.
All effort to get to Hon. Kemelayefa proved abortive as all his phone contacts were turned off as at the time of filing this report.
