Comrade Dimeji Macaulay a front-line Abuja based socialist activist yesterday emerged as the candidate of the Socialist Party of Nigeria (SPN) in the primary election conducted in LEA Primary School ,Nyanya Abuja. Dimeji Macaulay elected unanimously after he was nominated.
Comrade Dimeji Macaulay salutes the resilience of all the party members that supported in the process that culminated to his emergence, describing the support by party members as overwhelming as a victory to all workers, those that have been shortchanged and socially deprived Nigerians in the Abuja Municipal Area council.
According to him, if elected as the Amac chairman. he promised to uphold the Manifesto and Constitution of the Party and also end oppression of the poor and the working class by the present administration of Hon. Abdullahi Adamu Candido.
He further promised to end jumbo pay for political office holders and also to direct immediate employment of young people and experts to the ministry of works to begin rural road construction in all communities and will also build houses for teeming homeless people of AMAC.
He call on poor and working people in Abuja to vote for him and all SPN candidates in coming election so that real change can come to their door step.
